Energy Transition Game- Center for Systems Solutions

  • Orange Room, TU Delft Library (map)

YES. You read it right. We are going to play a game on Energy Transition, led by professional moderators from Center for Systems Solutions, Poland.

What is this game?

It’s a simulation game where you decide about the future of the energy sector. Each player takes a different role within a complex energy system landscape. Each role has different responsibilities and decisions to make. It's a great tool for educating yourself about the real-life complexity of pursuing sustainable development. Within the game we want to offer the stage to multiple perspectives regarding climate change and the transition, rather than a unidirectional message, where students, accompanied by professionals from the energy sector can play the game together not just to help in getting a better understanding of the challenges, but also stimulate out of the box thinking therefore, new ideas.

Some names who will be attending the game as role players are: Maxime Roozendaal from Shell, Olena Sorkina from Vattenfall, Paul Bierlingh from Stedin, René van der Linden from Friesland Campina, Daniel Schotten from Faculty TBM, Arjan Verschoor from Forestwise.earth. And you can be one of our 30 first participants in the game.

The event is free to attend but requires a security deposit of 10 Euros which will be refunded to you upon attendance in the event. Please bear in mind that cancellations are not subject to reimbursements.
